So news recently broke that young Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s dad, will be played by Dominic Cooper in the ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ movie. Don’t know who he is? Don’t feel so bad, I had to Google him too. I can’t decide if he’s hot or Gahd Awful Ugly. He reminds me of Rami Malek (the mummy from Night At The Museum) and some other hot guy. But I don’t know. I also don’t know if he’s a good actor.
The rest of the cast looks just as stupid; Chris Evans, who is total eye candy but can’t act his way out of a paper bag. Tommy Lee Jones, who already proved to comic book fans he needs to stay away from comic book movies, Hugo Weaving, and a few other people I had to Google. Will this movie work, though? Much like Iron Man, I had no hope. But people know who Captain America is. Still, some people might find him hoaky by today’s standards. Or maybe America needs Captain America back into the lime light. Maybe it will give us strength to battle those evil two-bit Naz–Oh wait…
Patriotism is a great thing, but I think Iron Man should be our generations Captain America. I mean, he did privatize world peace.
